PBL Zumba checkpoint 8

Our third action was to do Zumba at the gym with year 7 and 8 at period 1 and period 4. Franz emailed Mr. Wilson if we could borrow his speaker on Tuesday period 1, We had some trouble finding Mr. Wilson´s speaker we had to call and ask some people where was his speaker, Ms McLaren said that it might be at the S3 but lucky we found it before period 1 at Ms. Jud's office.

Zumba has a lot of high impacts moves that can burn fats and it is a good exercise for our body. The Outcome of the Zumba was everybody was having fun. On Reflection, we should have promoted it at their classes so that we could earn more than 50 cents.

This is the video of our Zumba:

PBL Zumba checkpoint 7

          Saturday, 02/12/17
Our second action was we went to Wigram park to dance Zumba with parents. We borrowed the speaker to our friend, So while waiting for the parents we warmed up first. We don´t come across disablers when organising this action.

The Outcome was not happy because no parent´s come to our Zumba, So we just practised the steps for Tuesday because we are having a Zumba again with year 7 and 8.
The Reflection was we should have put it at the notices so that we could attract more people to join our Zumba.

PBL Zumba checkpoint 6

                                                                      28/11/17
We made a Zumba because our topic is obesity. Our first action was we made a poster for Zumba and then we attached it to the wall one by one. We borrowed the speaker to Mr. Wilson for Zumba, and we practised the dance for Zumba. We don´t come across disablers when organising this action.

We feel that this was good because Zumba is so good for obese, but the Outcome was not that good because we just got our Filipino friends, no kiwi´s came. Enablers Tita Marijo helps us to do the Zumba and Mr. Wilson let us borrowed the speaker.

On Reflection, we think that this was a good idea to help the obese people to reduce their fats. We are excited to get on with our next action for this project.

Creative Writing 1

Have you ever done something so well?

I have. When I was young. My friend not actually a friend I just met him. Tomorrow morning he came to our house I think it’s 5:00 am and it’s raining. And I let him come inside, My parents are still sleeping. I was watching my favourite TV show, Ultra man Max. After 2 hours of watching and it’s 7:00 am, My mom woke up to buy our breakfast. My mom put a money on the table and she went to the toilet, and when she came back the money was not there.

I didn’t see my friend stole it but I know that he is. I didn’t say to my mother early because I have no evidence that he stole it. I investigated him first. After couple of minutes,
I think he knows so he made a way to bring the money back secretly.

Annoying because he came to our house so early just to stole money.

I investigated him first. After a couple of minutes, I think he knows so he made a way to bring the money back secretly. I’m just secretly staring at him.

And I saw him returned the money secretly on the table. Then he shouts he says, He needs to go home her mom is calling to him and he runs.

I just did what is good and that is our money for breakfast. But either way, it sure felt good being a detective for a day.

ESOL 11/09/17

I think that homework is bad because some students don't spend time with their parents. Also some students don't get enough sleep because of homeworks. On the other hand, students enjoy doing homework.

You can do so many things like hiking, bungee jump, river rafting, mountain biking, shotover jet, golf, snowboarding and skiing, and tandem skydiving.

Examples:

In Macbeth by William Shakespeare, dialogue was used to show the state of  Macbeth’s mind.

For instance, the line “Is this a dagger I see before me?” demonstrates Macbeth questioning  his reality.
This technique reveals Macbeth’s character  by showing the audience that he has started to hallucinate and that his mind is playing tricks on him, or, alternatively, that the witches are having more influence on him than he realises.
Shakespeare did this to show the consequences of Macbeth’s guilty actions. As the play progresses, Macbeth’s mind becauses more troubled and Shakespeare uses Macbeth’s  dialogue, actions, and the conversations of other to reflect this.
This dialogue  can be juxtaposed with the feast when he has a visitation of Banquo’s ghost and says “Then comes my fit again: I had else been perfect”. This highlights, to some degree, the fact that Macbeth is conscious of his hallucinations. However, a characteristic of insanity is the insane person not knowing that are in fact insane and by the end of the play, Macbeth no longer knows what is real and what is imagined around him. This highlights the fact that guilt through murder and ‘unfettered’ ambition can affect the state of people's’ minds.

Examples:

In Spiderman 3, low angle shots were used effectively.

For example, the director, Sam Raimi, used a low angle camera shot during the battle scene between Spiderman and Venom.
This technique created impact by  helping me see that Venom had the upper hand over Spider-Man showing that harboring feelings of revenge can lead to death.
The director did this to show the power struggle between Spider-Man and Venom and to show we all make choices about revenge or forgiveness.
Coinciding with the shot was melancholic music in minor key, making the scene even scarier.
This technique can be juxtaposed with Spider-Man fighting the Green Goblin, showing Spider-Mans dominance over the Green Goblin, and that when he is wearing the black suit, he is more powerful and more revengeful.
